What is Tax Digital (MTD)?
MTD is the term used to describe how you must submit your

for tax purposes, like Xero. This means that you can no longer be able to
submit VAT returns by hand. The application became obligatory for VAT periods
that begin on or after 1st April 2022. Once the system is operational, many
business owners find it more efficient and quicker to calculate and file vat returns online using the MTD software.
