Is your Emirates ID damaged, stolen, or lost? You should report the incident to the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Ports Security- ICP as soon as possible. If you don't know how, we've got you covered with all of the steps for applying for your ID.

Before visiting the ICP Customer Happiness Centre, you must bring the following papers and documents:

UAE citizens must bring an original, valid passport as well as a family book.

GCC nationals must present documentation proving residency in the UAE.

Expatriate residents must bring their original passport, which must be stamped with a valid residency permit.

If the lost ID belongs to a child under the age of 15, the parent must provide the child's original birth certificate as well as a coloured passport photo against a white background.

Every city in the UAE has an ICP Customer Happiness Centre; when there, notify them that you want to report an incident with your ID, and it will be deactivated immediately; if your ID is broken, bring it with you.

As stated on the UAE website, you must take the following steps:

Apply for your ID card replacement

After reporting the incident, fill out the form in the center or on their app UAE ICP, which is available on iTunes and Google Play, and then request a replacement or new ID card.

Pay the fees for the New ID Card

AED 300 is required for the replacement of a lost or damaged ID, in addition to application fees of AED 70 if applying through the centers or AED 40 if applying through the ICA website's eForm. These fees apply to all UAE nationals, GCC nationals, and expatriate residents. You can get an instant ID replacement at ICA main's Customer Happiness Centre for an additional AED 150.

Collect your New ID Card

ICP will text you with the status of your application and an estimated delivery date. The ID card will be delivered within 48 hours of submitting the replacement application. Those who select the expedited service will receive their ID card within 24 hours of submitting their replacement application. Contact Emirates Post to arrange for delivery after receiving notification from ICP that the card is available.

Of course, you can contact the ICP Call Center at 6005 30003 for more information.
