Here, we will focus on coffee brewing methods and how to learn how to brew the best tasting coffee.
Method 1: French press
French press coffee has the distinct advantage of being very easy to make. The coffee that it produces is slightly textured, and you can use the french press coffee method to make several cups simultaneously.
The coffee produced by this method is also quite rich and robust in flavour. If you would like to quickly prepare some French press coffee, then you will need to add some medium-coarse coffee to fill the press to the halfway point.
Next, pour in an adequate amount of boiling hot water and allow it to steep for a few minutes. Finally, you will need to press down the filter and your coffee is ready to serve.
It should also be noted that French press coffee has a medium body. The body is actually thicker than drip coffee but not as thick as a cup of espresso. The flavour and aroma of a cup of French press coffee can also be quite intense for some coffee drinkers.
Method 2: AeroPress
AeroPress is a streamlined and handheld coffee making appliance. You can enjoy a cup of espresso-style coffee in a few minutes that is quite delicious and filling.
Moreover, the AeroPress is very simple to use, and it can also be customized to produce different types of coffee.
It encourages you to experiment with different coffee types and methods in order to keep things interesting and exciting. Once you find your favourite method you can stick with it or continue to experiment to discover new favourites.
If you would like to brew a cup of coffee using your AeroPress then you will need to steep for a few minutes. Then, simply push your brew through the grounds of coffee with a bit of pressure and the result is delicious and full flavoured.
Method 3: Coffee bags
If you want to enjoy a coffee making process that is similar to the tea making process then look no further. The coffee grounds are placed inside tiny bags. They actually appear very similar to tea bags.
Steep your coffee bag in some boiling water for a few minutes. Then, simply extract the bag and enjoy your morning cup of joe.
Method 4: Espresso
Many people consider espresso to be the easiest of all of the brewing methods in the market. In order to make a cup of espresso, dehydrated coffee granules will need to be dissolved in a pot of hot water.
The method is not only very easy to follow but also very quick. Having a good espresso machine is paramount if you want to enjoy a bold, delicious, and energizing cup of coffee before you head out for the day.
Modern espresso is usually produced with an espresso machine that is pump-driven. The state of the art machine will brew the coffee to generate nine bar pressure when pulling the shot.
The term ˜espresso' is derived from the speed of the process. That is, an espresso shot is usually extracted in 25 seconds, whereas a conventional brewing method may take up to four minutes.
Method 5: Moka pot
The Moka pot involves a rudimentary stovetop method in order to create a strong and rich brew of coffee that can be enjoyed at any time of the day. Easy to brew and quite delicious, those looking for a traditional way to make coffee should strongly consider the Moka pot.
The Moka pot is actually a coffee making device that utilizes steam pressure in order to facilitate the extraction. The pressure from the steam actually helps push the water through the grinds.
Some people have compared the espresso making method to the Moka pot method because of the steam pressure involved. However, the Moka pot method uses less pressure (one bar), compared to the espresso method (nine bars).
One caveat with making coffee with a Moka pot is to take into consideration the thermal inertia that is involved. That is, you will need to pour the coffee into your cup as soon as the brewing is complete.
Failure to do so will lead to over-extraction, which will produce burnt coffee or coffee that has a very bitter flavour.

In fact, you can even enjoy a cold brew bottle if you prefer your coffee cold. Simply grind some coffee beans to a medium-fine level that resembles granulated sugar. Your water/ground coffee hybrid should sit in your refrigerator for about ten hours.
