Hina Tabassam relates this art with the child who experienced Trauma

Among most of us we have commonly heard about a word depression and nowadays it's a common thing and we hear it by almost everyone we met or come across. In a recent research I had come through that not only the younger generation is going through a depression face but also the children's are one of the victim of this. Mostly people's talk about it in a ted talk or by motivational speakers but it's not common in the middle class society to talk about it and child's depression or a child being a victim or any traumatizing experiences are not disclosed publicly very easily. Hina Tabassum is an artist from Karachi who is working on this practice she makes art in the form of a disclosure of what a child is or can go through by such behaviors in their home and being nurtured in such sick environment can cause a damage to that child's personality talking to her she told that it was her passion to become an artist one day since she was a child she pursued her fine arts degree from university of Karachi. Hina Tabassum is an artist who is recognized for her work not only here but also internationally. Her work mostly represents the environment and our surroundings and she mostly works for the children's development because of any violence they may have gone through, which I find the most inspiring about her as an artist.

This is an art piece of her that represents a rusted teddy. At a glance you may see it as just a toy but the story behind it portrays another untold sickness of our society the rustiness represents the tiredness and exhausting remark on the personality of a child that undergoes something disturbing left a mark on the body of the child that causes tiredness and sickness to the individual. She told that she always wanted to do something inspiring in her career and due to which she chose a path that could represent a step towards child's development she made a lot of art work in that cause which is also presented and appreciated internationally not only this she also teaches art in many platforms.

œThis is an art work by her which she named as an innocent gesture which she again portrayed by using rustic metal.

The Karachi artist was good at arts ever since she was a child and later on she persuade arts as a proper degree. Speaking to her she told that she always admires the art work and always took art very seriously she always wanted to stand out due to her art work. She also told us on growing up œSaeed Akhtar was one of her favorite artist whose work she admires the most. After graduating from Karachi school of arts she was appointed as a teacher there and still she is teaching there privately. She also teaches at several schools for children's development.  She said that her art work gave her a lot of respect worldwide and she said she learned many things through her art. Upon asking for her art experience she told that she once had travelled 5 different countries for her art work display along with other artists that was a travelling exhibition. She also told that in Pakistan the art industry is not very wide and still in some universities we don't have the option to pursue the fine arts degree in masters. Upon asking about her specialty she replied working with metal and rusting method.

I use the technique and form of rusting metal as a metaphor to draw attention to the corrosive effects violence in their surroundings has on children

She also told that she sells most of her art works internationally.  She requests the government of Pakistan to introduce fine arts degree in masters from Karachi University. At last when we asked her to summarize her art work she said:

"The transformation that takes place through these external factors overtime is something I try to express in my work.

Some of her work is shown below:

Speaking of her work she told that the most selling product of her is the metal horse which is shown above. Not only this she have also worked on some portraits that represents the domestic violence in the women and how a women may be after many bruises on her souls se would do anything to keep her family and children first she showed a women with bruises from her iconic metal rusting art work. Domestic violence is also a common practice in the daily lives not only physically but the mental pressures a women faces to keep her family occupied and happy she undergoes many tortures and many bruises but she remains quiet this was remarkably shown in her art piece which needs to be appreciated.  Not just for women but also she portrayed a man a leading member of the house on whose shoulder the whole lives are depending upon goes through many of the hardships and let alone faces them so that others can have the necessities. She also showed the ruling age of the society how the minors are considered as the slaves of the society and how a person on a higher level either in the form of money or power rules over the minors mind and the people carry the burden on their shoulders just to keep their masters happy unwillingly getting bruised and broken but always getting to work.

Not only the rusting and metal works, she's also very good at oil paintings and sketching. She have drawn many oil paintings portraying a message in every picture she draws. She crafts the untold stories of the society that many of us can relate to the burden that we all are carrying in the hearts can also be shown by arts if not by words and she have perfectly given a best example of this through her art pieces.
