You must make a reservation at The Nice Guy, Dubai's sexiest
new restaurant, if you enjoy spotting celebrities while enjoying an evening of
fine dining. Today, the renowned West Hollywood eatery opens its first overseas
location in Dubai's Emirates Towers, and we've already taken a tour.
The Nice Guy Dubai, which took design cues from the original
in Los Angeles, has a cozy aesthetic with dark woods, low lighting, and
elaborate custom fabrics. When you walk into the restaurant, which is located
on the ground floor of Emirates Towers Boulevard where Al Nafoorah once stood,
you're greeted by a posh lounge area with a large marble and brass bar in the
middle of it. Here, guests are invited to unwind with a pre-dinner drink or
party until the wee hours while enjoying craft cocktails and stimulating
conversation.
The lounge
The Nice Guy restaurant offers fine culinary delights for
those seeking a more formal dining experience, and the booths lining the walls
are ideal for a private tete a tete. A charming outdoor patio with romantic
lighting and the glittering DIFC skyline as a backdrop will be ideal for al
fresco evenings as the weather cools.
According to Michael Teich, director of culinary operations,
the menu "transports guests back to a time when getting together to eat
and drink was the basis for a great night on the town." Dubai diners can
look forward to some exclusive, Dubai-only menu additions like a burrata with
fire roasted black grapes, saffron arancini, and a vegan-friendly meatball
pizza, in addition to fan favorites from West Hollywood like a lobster pizza
and Cacio e Pepe.
The Nice Guy typically transforms into a chic nightlife venue for drinks and dancing after dinner service, complete with live DJs and entertainment. Bring your dancing shoes, of course.
